Weight Loss For Women Over 200 Pounds

Are you having trouble with losing weight? You aren't alone, there are millions of women all across the United States with the same problem.

Did you know that over 90% of new dieters quit their diet after the second week?

Being over 200 pounds can bring multiple problems like feeling undesirable to the opposite sex, public shame, depression, and health risks such as heart disease and diabetes.

Most women try to find simple and quick solutions, but this isn't reality.

The best way to go about dieting is to make it a lifestyle and not just a moment in time.

With these problems in mind here are 7 tips that will help you put together a diet plan that won't fail.

1. A Positive Mindset

If you are going to lose weight, you must have a correct mindset!

You must make a conscious decision to not only lose weight but to keep it from coming back.

Some people are doomed from the beginning, they don't even believe they can lose weight.

Make the choice to want to lose weight and stick to that decision no matter what.

2. Have A Support System

Whenever you start a new challenge in life you need a support system.

Having people around who will support and cheer you on will keep you focused.

There will be times when you want to quit but having a strong support system will help you through the tough times.

3. Eat Healthily

This is the most obvious tip but is the most crucial. Many think that exercise is the key to dieting.

They are sadly WRONG, the most important part of dieting is what you will be putting into your body.

Getting rid of all the junk food from your house (and hiding spot at work) will greatly increase your odds of sticking to your diet.

Replace all of your chips for fruit and healthy snacks.

4. Limit Your Carbs

Carbohydrates give your body the fuel it needs, but when you are over 200 pounds it helps your body store a lot of fat.

By cutting down on your carbs your body will have less fat to work with.

5. Eat Healthy Proteins

Since you will be cutting down on carbohydrates replacing them with healthy proteins such as lean chicken breast and whole eggs are critical to your weight loss success.

6. Exercise

Although exercise isn't the most important thing in weight loss, you still should do it. You will not only look better but you'll feel better.

Begin an easy workout routine and gradually increase the difficulty as you progress.

Resistance training will help prevent loose skin!

7. Believe In Your Self

If you don't believe in yourself nobody else will!

Having the right mindset and the right belief system is crucial to your success.

When things get hard (and they will) by having self-confidence in yourself, you will stay the course and achieve your goals.

These were the 7 tips for women over 200 pounds going on a diet.
